Chinatown is the first place we went after we settled down in Midtown Hotel. It took around 15mins for us to walk from hotel to Chinatown. The first impression is quite similar to Chinatown Kuala Lumpur because of its typical Chinese-style pintu gerbang with tanglong.

Since Friday in Terengganu is a public holiday, most of the shops were closed and not much human activity on the street.

We went to a chinese restaurant to take a break and eat noodles.

The interesting part of this place is definitely the proportion of its kaki lima.

The height of this arch is around 160cm.

There is a less than 2m gap between 2 shophouse. It was tranformed into "Turtle Alley" that connect Chinatown to the waterfront area. The wall art is talking about sea turtle awareness.

After Chinatown, we continue walking to waterfront. There were many cars going towards the waterfront as there are some food stalls here and the people are bringing family to enjoy the food and waterfront view here.
